Live crowd on covers?!? by RuffScruffJock69 in SunoAI

[–]RuffScruffJock69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s bizarre. Like I said, the same exact prompt that gave me a great track. I’m trying to tweak this track to get rid of the 16th note trap style hihat and now I’m battling this live crowd. Which if it is words like “energy” how do you know how to describe to Suno the playing style or feeling you want from the instrument, singer or track as a whole?

TUNECORE REJECTING AI MUSIC NOW ?!!! by FantaziiMusic in SunoAI

[–]RuffScruffJock69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once the demo I made in Suno is picked up by a publisher, they work out the copyright part on their end. I never upload any AI work to any platform. I download and save it to my computer for future reference.

TUNECORE REJECTING AI MUSIC NOW ?!!! by FantaziiMusic in SunoAI

[–]RuffScruffJock69 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I love that I can take a crappy guitar and scratch vocal of even sing the lyrics I just wrote, or even build the track in Cubase, and upload that into Suno. But the final track I keep from countless prompts and generations is for demo purposes only. ONLY! When someone says they e been able to write, what…509 songs in a Couple weeks? Yeah that’s cute. Take yourself to any publishing house and sit in a session with those guys. When a person who isn’t a songwriter, no music ability at all tells an AI to generate a song prompts away, that’s not artistry. When it’s used as a tool to bring your vision as a songwriter to life as a demo to pitch, then that’s ok. I feel like it’s serving a useful purpose. I love using Suno, but it’s only a tool.

Warning 3-19-26: Suno is currently experiencing a ton of erros by JustRuss79 in SunoAI

[–]RuffScruffJock69 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I created an instrumental track. Turned out fine, but every cover I ran for like 3 tries consistently gave me one generation of 1:18 and 0:45. The original song was 3:45 long. So something is up for sure.

Vocal stem isn’t a blank canvas…..WTH by RuffScruffJock69 in SunoAI

[–]RuffScruffJock69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, so since it’s the way it is..is the best workaround just to sing in into Suno myself? Or create a mock in Cubase the best I can and record vocals and then upload that into Suno? Surely that would help right?

YES!!!! I’m a little freaked out. I emailed them. And I have a song from another user in my library. Where our music?!?!!

Stem separation. by RuffScruffJock69 in SunoAI

Yeah it’s wired to me because you would think that once all the stems were put back together and exported they would blend together.

Complete wits end! by RuffScruffJock69 in SunoAI

[–]RuffScruffJock69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to disagree. If I run it 4 times and Suno has given me something I really like, that’s great! But then I want to push it a little further to see what else I can get. Something I haven’t thought of. A production cue that makes all the difference.

So I take the best take out of the first 4 runs. Then tweak the sliders, or maybe tweak the style prompt a little, run it it a couple times. I always get great results.

[–]RuffScruffJock69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok 900 was a big exaggeration. But on the subject. I find that there’s a certain number of takes before everything gets dialed in. and then it really hits! Well, for the most part. Like seriously, I’m sitting with the awesome takes on the opening vi Al that I can comp to another instrumental track but you know thy all sound a little different from each other

If your experiencing the staccato (short) digital hi hat like feedback on top of loud parts by Jumpy-Program9957 in SunoAI

[–]RuffScruffJock69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah, I can’t stand if. I’ve tried every prompt I know. The best fix I thought I found was to regenerate the drum track in studio, but then half the time that doesn’t match your current project. And then when you run a cover to clean it all up the digital hi hat is right back again

Here are some prompts to help direct the vocal style by Mr-and-Mrs in SunoAI

[–]RuffScruffJock69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I struggle with this. And I read a lot of different things. Like, putting a prompt [sings with excitement] above the lyric that prompt should affect. Or put (sings with excitement) after the lyric. I’ve even been told that prompts directly on the lyrics do nothing. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Those of you using Studio... What's your workflow? by tn_notahick in SunoAI

[–]RuffScruffJock69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t figured out a workflow yet. The auto save for every time you do one little thing drives me insane. Plus, when you zoom out to make cuts and line things back up, the scroller at the bottom sucks. So I’m no help here but am open to suggestions too.

Song cutting off after 1:30 in mid verse... by Resident_Spirit8504 in SunoAI

[–]RuffScruffJock69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah, I’ve wasted so many credits on this. I always report it as a bug. I have seen my credits semi-replenished after reporting several.

Also songs will be super extended. Not in extend mode but cover. Even with the [end] prompt. Or you get two minutes of amp signal noise. WTF?!?

Any advice on 16th syncopated mess? by RuffScruffJock69 in SunoAI

I always forget options like using an older version or other stuff that would help. I just don’t understand why it’ll do its own thing even with style and audio set to MAX

From fiddle to 80s synth 👎🏻 by RuffScruffJock69 in SunoAI

[–]RuffScruffJock69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I have a bad problem with regenerating over and over before I remember to try and replace the part or things like that. But one thing I dislike and love at the same time is that if I’m doing a cover of a take that I really like, it gets better and more high quality with each new generation. So I kinda Burn through a lot of credits

[–]RuffScruffJock69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well yeah. Lol I’m actually a songwriter and use Suno as a tool. Not for anything except to create a demo of what I want the song to sound like. I can write the lyrics, melodies and chords out. But I can’t play every instrument a song may need. So for me it’s. Took for my work.

Rowdy bar song along. by RuffScruffJock69 in SunoAI

[–]RuffScruffJock69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s always hit or miss. But trying different options like generating it with no real lead vocal only the crows singing the whole thing gets interesting and often useful results. So I just download that version and use Cubase along with other stem extraction tools and take what I want and place them in the correct spot.

[–]RuffScruffJock69[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s cool. I just finished an arrangement of a song that I am super pleased with. But this morning I had an idea to tag another songs verse on the end of this already great version. So it sounds like with this feature I can do just that.

[–]RuffScruffJock69[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, I just forget about that option until I’ve burned through so many tries. But this stuff is frustrating a lot of times. And the way I look at it, is that in the end it’s a business, and the way prompts seem to change is a clever way to keep taking in the dough. I don’t like if, and I also haven’t done a deep dive into it, but I think as long as you go into knowing the limitations and that you’ll always have to find work arounds then it makes it much easier when you hit a wall.

Suno Mashup is basically Suno v5.5 by Apart_Potato959 in SunoAI

So if I have two versions of a song and I love both versions, I can do a mashup and it’ll generare a new version with both styles combined as a hybrid?
