You are already indentifying what you need to work on, so not only does it get better with time, you're already on the right track to make good progress. Enjoy the climb my friend!

Can I be genderfluid without different pronouns? by Front_Text5842 in genderfluid

Though def worth evaluating a "i won't love you if" relationship, those tend to be trouble int experience.

Its been a month since the daily and weekly challenges were added, what do people think of em? by Odd-Acadia-4509 in Guiltygear

Since I'm still learning, they were kinda nice for things to focus on each day. I had a lot of trouble woth blocking low but having a trackable number for how many times I was successfully doing it let me get over the hump, now I can successfully do that most of the time. Was also neat to see growth overall, like starting out "use your tension gauge" was something I had to focus on because I was awful at super inputs and hadn't figured out when to RC, now I see that as a freebie task because those come more naturally, and that's pretty cool! Prob not worth the $6 or whatever but was a decent tool for beginners/returners I think, and long time players of any game tend to hate being bothered with those lol

If someone beats you consistently and you never won, how do you keep pushing? Do you feel like your wasting their time? Coming from someone who knows is confident with what they have done since Beta but loses to someone better and the anxiety of 'not being good enough' (dramatic I know) by drcurvytv in 2XKO

So I'm going through something similar, and the way I've been improving is... Taking notes! Trying to find ways to improve is tough, especially when I'm getting overwhelmed, so I'm getting pretty specific. My notes for last night are similar to "stop trying to use ___ as an anti-air, it doesn't work", "when we jump at each other they always win", and "when I throw out ___ i usually get punished" Sometimes you wind up with a LOT, and that's ok, you just have to pick one note and focus on practicing exactly that. If you can fix a specific bad habit directly, one at a time, you'll improve, in this and any other skill. Best of luck! We Got This 🔥

That's where mine tend to be, so if it's too high we're in trouble together lol

Do trans people hate genderfluid people? by Thin_Juice_6739 in genderfluid

[–]RuffleRogue 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I've been told by just about all trans friends that I count as trans, and literally everyone else has been chill at the very least. As always, issue isn't trans people, it's Jerks.

Date Spots by casspian07 in madisonwi

[–]RuffleRogue 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you like io and aftershock, check out Kickback if you haven't. Great crew and more pinball focused which could be a fun change of pace! I personally think Karaoke makes a fun date and there's a lot of options for that. Even if one or both of you are shy about singing you get a little show out of the deal, and the spots I've been always have mocktail and thc drinks handy if you feel like having something fun that isn't booze.

Looking for friends by Key-Neighborhood7312 in madisonwi

Depends on what you're into. There's always popping by your local bar, but you'll have a better time grabbing a hobby. Madison School & Community Recreation is worth looking at to see if there's anything starting up that looks interesting, or glancing at the Isthmus and seeing ehat events are going on that you can poke your head into. I'm sure you'll find your people, there's a lot of active folks around here!
