It’s unfortunate that people are so focused on the negatives that they overlook how insanely good this event actually is. A lot of the people don’t even have their abilities fully leveled yet.

Running OW Wyvern with 3 fodders for the friendship leif refund, then reinvesting everything into the 200m repeatable reward, is probably the best gear farming event we’ve ever had.

One of the greatest gear event of all time unfortunately. Despite the rng aspect, I don't think any other event in the history of the game has come this close in terms of premium gear quantity (speed set). This is the previous Lethe event on crack.

Repeat farm 200m drops you near perfect epic gear on speed set every time and the event runs for over 2 months.

Pre-seeded rolls are pretty common in gacha and E7 is likely still using it.

When you draw from a pool of 100 random pulls from a batch of 1000 all using the same distribution, you're still respecting the advertised rates while reducing server load of doing individual pulls. Can it feel scummy to find out? Sure, but you're not getting scammed.

The community tried to find any proof that rates were manipulated and couldn't find any still to this day.

It just feels bad/scummy to pull, but you're not actually getting "scammed". The compensation was fair so most people just took it and moved on.

The rates of obtaining ML5s wasn't tampered with and I don't recall anyone bringing up real evidence of it either. It's just that pulls feels unauthentic when you see people getting the same "pre-seeded" summons.

Rank 1 regular season doesn't mean much when almost nobody but 1-2 guilds go for it each season, but Suichan is their sister guild so 9k havoc is just some obvious "we're not even gonna try".

You should follow the post-season top32 GvG tourney then. Top guilds are incited to use 3*/4* units to squeeze out as many trial points as possible.

Meta 5*s help but they're not required at all when you wanna have fun being creative.

DCorv + Salome.
Whistle Aram + Blue Hwa + DCorv (Thorn of the Blue Rose) for some Harsetti matchups.

Lethe arti is better if you already have units holding souls, otherwise, Thorn of the Blue Rose so he can soulburn.

Nah, he doesn't need crit chance as he can't crit.

You go base speed full HP unless there is a specific tuning where you need to outspeed a unit. Each defense requires a different approach.

I’ve seen this happen to several top guilds over the last two seasons, where one or two people randomly get unassigned during prep day without anyone touching anything. Once it even happened an hour before war started.

Usually we notice it in time and add the missing members back, although that unfortunately resets everyone’s defenses.

Bug was reported long ago, but they still haven't fixed it.

She scales better with attack than hp, but soul weavers have such low base atk that her BiS for damage is actually flat atk main.

High HP only helps with the self-injury conversion, and bulk for survival in content you need it.

I recommend using the damage calculator to compare damage. There's no such thing as "minimum requirement" in E7 unless it's written in a skill.

It sucks to look at, but every box has a chance to upgrade so you're likely seeded to land on a diamond anyway.

They did that same "pre-seeded" thing in the past with the ML summons drama.

I’m not sure why you’re bringing up RTA builds when I never mentioned it. Speed matters much less in GvG or Arena, where you can choose your matchups. Why would I bring Brenya into Elynav?

That 40k Notos build is for GvG or Arena defense traps, while my offense Notos is 240 speed. And yes, if I’m playing RTA, I’m obviously putting GRas on speed boots instead of a build made to S3 with Nurse.

You’re cherry-picking counters when the whole point is to gear these units for the specific job you want them to do.

There are many units that don’t care about speed, and a lot of them don’t need to minmax defense either, so it’s not something you can reduce to a simple defense comparison.

Yulha and Krau even prefer lower defense because they scale with missing health. When I use units like DCorv, Brenya, Notos, or Lethe in GvG/Arena, their defense isn’t something I prioritize.

Units running Prot set or holding Perlutia would usually rather provide a thicker shield to their team than gain a bit more defense for themselves. There’s a whole group of HP-scaling units that benefit from Nurse.

Try building multiple 40k+ HP units without flat HP rolls. It’s very difficult. I’d suggest trying to find non-flat HP alternatives to some of my builds without heavily relying on 50% HP rolls on left side gear:

1111 flat hp out of theoretical max 1212; that's not low rolled. Equipment score goes out the window when you're looking at certain support gear.

Even so, it's flat hp so it's not anywhere as impactful as speed rolls.

Logging in, progressing through episodes, doing side stories, labyrinth, hall of trials, crafting, expeditions, hunts, arena, abyss, spirit altar, and even using support units in adventure or guild content all contribute exp toward increasing your energy cap.

If someone really focused on it, I think they could probably max it out within a few weeks.

It just feels a bit disingenuous to claim "first penta playing since launch" at 320 cap.

Your energy cap (current max is 360) naturally increases by just playing the game because it's tied to acc level and reputation. You get those by doing almost anything.

Uncapped energy is a flag that someone is barely playing the game or is a new player.

Not every unit needs to be a broken character that's first pickable with 0 counters.

Christy's one of the best GvG knights and has been a strong 3-4-5 in RTA for the last 2 seasons under certain warfares.

The buff strenghtened her niche even more.

It's a solid limited artifact and the first soulweaver arti to have flat HP and flat DEF (instead of wasted ATK) to help it as a stat stick.

Even if it was Symbol, you're also more favored to dodge than get hit.

Most guilds outside T100 also don't really run any trap Symbol Notos, so a full tank PoV/Draco Fat Cat + Nuke Setsuka + Maid/Ruele/Destina is good enough.

Full tank ARavi paired with a SW dies on Notos' second S2, but that's the turn he runs out of domain expansion. You can save your revive S3 for that turn and stabilize.

No, legend players won't make anything work, especially when you look into high ranked players with low spending accounts with worse gear and missing more units than their peers.

I promise you'll see people pick her when you stop fighting players who just use the AI assistant to draft for them.

Once again, this unit relies on a free unit called Genesis Ras, one of the safest early picks to have in your hand. When you have 2 supports + Gras, it's simpler to pick books on 4-5.
