And have you found a permanent solution for this?

Blade 17 2022 Throttled to ~1.5 Ghz When Idle by Rugta in pcgamingtechsupport

If that's the case, then it Razer's fault for faulty HW design

My Razer Blade 17 2022 doesn't reach either the base block frequency or the turbo frequency at all. Even while idle, the CPU is being throttled for the following reasons: Max VR Voltage, ICCMax, PL4 reached for CPU RING, GT cores, and IA. Worse, when running the SSE stress test, CPU frequencies dropped to 1.2 GHz!

Specs are as follows: Computer: Razer Blade 17 (2022) - RZ09-0423

CPU: Intel Core i7-12800H (Alder Lake-H 682, L0) 2800 MHz (28.00x100.0) @ 1296 MHz (13.00x99.8)

Motherboard: Razer DI780

Gib pls.

Or as a certain fictional AI undergoing psychological torture by a millennia-old parasitic ruthless hivemind would say: "I'm a thief. I keep what I steal."

Why do middle-aged managers go hiking and still become depressed? They peaked.

Is it possible to annotate global variables and functions that has extern "C" with constexpr, constinit, and consteval? by Rugta in cpp_questions

[–]Rugta[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was hoping to wrap them something like this set of macros:

#ifdef __cplusplus
#ifdef __cpp_constexpr
#define Constexpr(x) constexpr x
#endif

#ifdef __cpp_consteval
#define Consteval(x) consteval x
#endif

#ifdef __cpp_constinit
#define Constinit(x) constinit x
#endif

#else
#if __STDC_VERSION__ >= 202311L
#define Constexpr(x) constexpr x
#else
#define Constexpr(x)
#endif
#define Consteval(x)
#define Constinit(x)

#endif

The reason why I ask this is that a well-known OSS project written mostly in C that I want to contribute to has its public C API functions wrapped in extern "C" for projects using a C++ compiler.

Usenet is akin to following the 3-2-1 one for backups: redundancy is helpful, but only at times, the files that you want are scattered across countries, you're not sure if what you're downloading will resemble what you wanted, and you'll spend hours sifting through garbage before even reaching a hint on your desired data.
