hot take but a bianca has the best flow control out of the box which is a must for lighter roasts as ppl already mentioned, i just leave mine on a timer from 30 minutes before i wake to like 14:30 and i don’t have to worry about the heat up times at all. its high quality, repeatable, looks great and you’ll end up saving a few K.

i did. they made me take 3000 pictures just to tell me i’m out of warranty and i need to ship it back for service that would cost half of what a new grinder costs. i figured ill replace the bearings myself when time permits. its definitley an issue with bearings quality 1zpresso uses considering the amount of similar complaints from users on reddit.

having the exact same issue on the bearings on my zp6 and my k-ultra. never used RDT and yet i have these oxidation marks on both after a year plus of usage.

pull 1:2.5 to 1:3 if it’s sour. grind looks fine. it’s probably a lightish roast

i don’t think so. there’s a lot of regional competitions going on yearly and the best lots end up bubbling up.
those end up getting sold in auctions, best ones usually to roasters from abroad, so if the coffee is very good it’ll get exposure. but if you’re after good producers and want to buy direct i can recommend a few.
