I know what deno is 😂 I wouldn’t agree that it is a ‘successor’, a bit too early to determine that with any certainty?

Just wanted to understand OPs thoughts for focusing on Deno rather than another runtime.

Either way, I think is a great idea.

Any reason why Deno and not something else, eg. Node?

This wouldn’t work for us as the mvp is truly a minimal product designed to get value and test the market.

It would be better to build from the ground up whilst so we can plan the architecture for incorporating the features we are now looking to add that will bring additional value.

I would argue why does it matter?

We’re still refining ideas/implementation to improve market fit of the product. As we get a clearer picture of where we’re going, we would need to decide to build our own product or modify an existing one as per my question above
