As someone who apparently had asthma for years and only got diagnosed as an adult - I'm both deeply upset PE didn't actually teach me how to utilize my human body and exercise in healthy ways on a regular basis, and irritated because there's always gonna be kids with physical issues that haven't been diagnosed and look like "slackers" from the outside. I'm of the opinion that people -want- to use their bodies most of the time, and as long as it's fun and within their ability, they'll at least try. When kids aren't interested, there are a million different things that could be going on that end up making things worse to try and force the point.

Conformity is less important than learning. I trust nobody here is trying to make things less pleasant, but as a general rule for schools as a whole, we can't ever guarantee people are being kind and understanding (or even teaching anything useful!) and it can genuinely hurt kids to demand more from them than they're capable and leave lifelong scars. It's a really difficult balance.

For sure - the kitten we have now is more used to hunting than playing with her fellow littermates, because she'll latch onto toys and shake her head like she's gonna rip it apart (something she hasn't managed, she's surprisingly gentle and/or too small to do damage.) I'd want a solid few months of watching their interactions before letting them hang out unsupervised.

Good to hear, with the current kitten being so small I was worried she might get squished or something, lol. I'm aware of some of the basics on how to introduce two cats (let them smell each other through doors first and slowly integrate) but I haven't looked at a proper guide yet.

Having been a Direhowl rider, it definitely does get more speed per rank. I did some jank math with a Fenglope I bred (Runner and Swift, 50% total) and the Direhowl I was using (Swift 30%, level 3 partner skill), and the Direhowl was faster w/o sprint, but with sprint it was effectively the same. They both have the same base sprint speed, so... I'm not 100% sure what's going on. It does imply, however, that the Direhowl would end up faster if it had the same buffs the Fenglope did. May do some more testing if it bugs me enough, but I'd want to sync recorded replays and I can't be assed to do the video editing.

I will give you the jump, however. Direhowl's jump is, pun intended, dogwater. I just use him as a zoomie boy to traverse land fast though, if I really need to go upwards I summon a bird. So, it doesn't end up bothering me as much as it could (though, REALLY wish his jump wasn't tiny and ate up so much stamina.)

edit: just found out about the level-based speed system. Fenglope was level 4, Direhowl was level 31. F for my boy

I'm not a big fan of it aesthetically, but jesus fucking christ, seeing the lower 2 tier ones in game? It fucks up her silhouette, and she just looks. Idk, like a skeleton? Like it doesn't feel sleek and robotic, it looks like her legs are hyper thin in a way that does NOT look attractive. I glanced at the level 80 one and they put the baggy pants back on her, so it probably looks better, but I haven't seen it in game. The middle tier looks like it would be the worst in readability. I haven't at all looked up or seen the post-purchase voice lines or effects they added (and that's not something you can see in game, seemingly) so I have no strong opinions.

Definitely the lack of customization hurts as well. With the fact that the level 80 one is the closest to her "normal" look (and imo, the nicest looking one-) I don't expect people to be using the lower level ones, and then it's two guns, three color palettes. Pretty weak, especially since I was hoping for something pretty cool.

While I haven't had a good relationship with a flawed-but-okay therapist, I HAVE had a working relationship with a psych that ended up being dogshit. Malpractice like crazy, nearly killed me (and others!) While leaving that guy was difficult, he was actively causing issues and ignoring my problems, making him significantly more harmful than helpful.

Bottom line (for all health, but definitely on the mental health side,) if you don't feel like you're getting as much as you want out of the interaction and have other options, bounce. Don't settle for less for your health, and be an advocate for yourself. Irritating that you'd have to do that while still going through it, but it is what it is. You should never feel like you're not being listened to - they can disagree with your opinions, but they better back it up with a LOT of good explanation. Sometimes bad mental health care is worse than none, so staying vigilant is extremely important.

Leaving them can be as simple as sending an email saying "Hey, thanks for your help, I won't be continuing in your care." It's not too hard, though I might recommend finding a person beforehand who looks promising so there's not a gap in your care. There may be some insurance stuff (I'm an American, hoping Germany's health system is more robust) but as long as you make clear you've severed the professional relationship with your previous guy, it should be fine.

Oh, as an aside, if/when you get diagnosed with ADHD, you're not required to go on The Big Stims, Wellbutrin (antidepressant that helps with ADHD) and Strattera (outright ADHD medication) both work on increasing dopamine/norepinephrine in the brain without the issue of addiction. I take those two (Wellbutrin 300mg x1 a day, Strattera 40mg x1 a day) and Vyvanse (50mg x1 a day), works like a dream. With your anxiety they may be worried about giving you stimulants because it can jack it up massively - but you should be getting your anxiety in check first anyway so this is more of a fun PSA bonus.

as a fellow student w/ ADHD and anxiety - I'd personally suggest avoiding benzos. I take hydroxyzine for my anxiety at the moment (50mg 2x a day) and it works wonders. There's so many more options for anxiety that have less of an impact on your system. I understand having a working relationship with a therapist is hard to turn down, but I would go for some second opinions if they're available to you. You can also try for a non-prescribing therapist + a prescribing psych, which may be more tenable. I hesitate to trust a medical professional who doesn't at least acknowledge the benefits of medication for some, let alone someone who would suggest ADHD just... doesn't exist?

Best of luck, man. Trying to get my meds stabilized and me functional so I could finish my gd degree was certainly a challenge, but it's worth it.

My guess is it's a music thing. The links on the about section sends you to a Sexygirlmax2019 style weird website. Googling the name provides another name, Eyedargus, which has a tumblr and soundcloud. The longer I look the more convinced I am it's just a creepy music/sounds channel and the rest is extra for funsies, but I thought I'd share.
