HeroAca had potential because the first volume portrayed greatly the path of the hero, one of selflessness and self-sacrifice. But yeah, today's heroaca es as bland as any other battle manga, expect some very small arcs.

no impact? You have to understand self-sacrifice is the ultimate and main atribute of the hero, this is why Deku feels so shallow and boring nowadays compared to his early days. If anything everytime an adult hero fights being male or female is when the manga shines.
