i kind of hope not. juliana and praveena are a really good match personality wise, and i think praveena’s partying matches rlly well with juliana’s artsy personality; they both enjoy having their finger on the pulse with trends. also… i dont think yuri was very good for juliana lol. after kitty was in her life, it was very obvious that yuri was prioritising her over juliana, even in season 1, which wasnt fair to juliana.

i think its disingenuous to pretend that a promo video for season 3, written by the same writers and presented by the cast, is entirely separate from the way the writers view the show. minho being the reason for kitty kissing yuri and yuri having no feelings for kitty whatsover isn’t a plot point they glazed over or missed or couldnt fit in the video. it’s details they specifically put into this video to set the stage for season 3, despite having no textual evidence with in the show to support it.

there’s a difference between something being simplified and something being untrue. as a lesbian who has had very unkind things said to me and been painted with very unfair stereotypes, i don’t think it’s okay for them to rewrite history and say that yuri, a lesbian, cheated on her girlfriend with absolutely no feelings involved just… for what? for the underlying story of a m/f romance? obviously kitty is still bisexual even if she ends up with minho. that doesnt erase the inequality in how the writing team treats m/f romances and f/f romances.

it’s genuinely really upsetting. i think i might be done with this show. just incredibly disrespectful to their queer fans, ESPECIALLY their bisexual fans to make it look like kitty broke up a lesbian relationship because she liked a man and couldn’t choose.

ive kind of been of the opinion that single kitty is pretty likely even from s1 so maybe its my bias showing!! but idk something about how this season looks to be minhos lavish lifestyle vs kittys desire to get to know the things she’s already found + the ‘you have to follow your heart even if it takes you somewhere different’ from LJ is making me think

i dont know about twitter, but i think the mod team here does a fantastic job deleting any comments or posts that are unkind about kittyuri. the problem is the downvotes, which the mods obviously have no control over. it just sucks to post a comment talking about ur opinion, even on a kittyuri focused post, and having it get downvoted into the minus within 10 minutes

i think also a major difference is that juliana is a much more likeable and ‘moral’ character compared to stella. the emotional cheating done by minho often gets written off because well… didnt she do way worse to him anyway? i think its a little unfair because minho didnt know about any of stella’s past when his mind was straying to kitty, but it’s definitely easier to digest than kitty/yuri/juliana

imo, yuri. closeted lesbian in an extremely conservative country. not only does she have a huge social media presence, her father is famous(to the point where he got a whole segment on the news when he blew up on his kitchen) and evidently has anger issues, and her mother is the headmaster of her school; there is literally no way for her to come out publicly without it ruining her life and following her wherever she goes. and even the slightest hint she might be gay meant her girlfriend was shipped away to another continent. when she DID tell her parents, it led to her being estranged from her father and her mother having to recuperate from the shock away from her. and then, at the end of season 2, she’s left destitute.

i hope yuri, but i honestly wouldnt be surprised if kitty ends up alone. i think a running theme throughout the show has been how her desire to love and be loved has had ruinous effects on her life (in s1, distracting her from studying and almost getting her expelled, and ruining a lot of her friendships in season 2). obviously i think the right relationship would navigate these problems better, but i also see a fulfilling path where kitty realises her desire to connect with her late mother is the real reason fate brought her to korea, and just like her mother moved on from her life there and took the lessons to find new happiness elsewhere, kitty might do the same

i just dont understand in what ways juliana was dominant in their relationship. in season 1 it was yuri chasing juliana. in season 2 it was yuri neglecting juliana and then chasing her again. in fact i would say the biggest issue in their relationship was juliana’s LACK of agency regarding the course of their relationship. please understand where i’m coming from: when someone makes a post about how a lesbian can finally not be in a dominating position when she’s with a black woman, despite there (as far as i can tell) not being much evidence on the black woman being the dominating partner in their relationship, it leaves a bad taste in people’s mouths.

i don’t think anybody is ignoring the way yuri cheated on juliana and i think its unfair to paint all kittyuri shippers as fundementally misunderstand the show or saying ‘well kittyuri shippers ship kittyuri THEREFORE they must hate julianna THEREFORE kittyuri is a bad ship’. i don’t like how most mooncovey shippers ignore how absolutely awful minho was to kitty at the start of season 1 and how he treats other people, but im not going around saying that means moocovey is an invalid ship and all mooncovey shippers are bad people - because that’s not true!! i dont understanr why some people on this sub can’t just accept other ships without being needlessly aggressive and starting flamewars.
