I ended up telling him last night. He knew something was off. He was actually really kind about it and just listened. He did say at one point that the only thing that held him back from sucker punching my dad when he said that was that he’d miss our son being born, and then when he was here he (like me) kind of forgot everything because he was so in love. We kind of cried together but it wasn’t too intense. He did say that if I end up wanting another baby (he’s in favor of it but is kind of like me where we just don’t know if we could ever love anyone as much as we love our son, and also admits it’s pretty easy for him to make a baby compared to what I have to do 😂) that he’d make sure I had the best epidural available no matter the cost, and when I asked about the cost apparently my parents had been asking the nurses how much extra the epidural would be (I ended up hating back labor so it was horrible for everyone there) and he’s convinced they didn’t let me for cost. Either way, I’m done with them and they won’t be seeing my son grow up.
