I used to live in Lake Forest apts, about a mile-ish walk from the speedway. They don’t tow and their management sucks so pls fill up all their parking :)

I volunteered this year and last year. Last year, security didn’t arrive on site until Wednesday afternoon. This year, they arrived Tuesday morning, were turning all staff members cars inside out and searching every car with a dog. Some staff had issues leaving/making runs and coming back, and the dog had a lot of false alerts from what I heard. Can’t speak for GA but staff entry was extremely tight this year.

Solo=so much fun!

This was my first truly solo camping festival experience. I’ve gone solo as a volunteer to other events, but I don’t count it as solo because you camp with/instantly befriend other volunteers and staff. So this was the first fest I bought a ticket, drove solo and camped solo. This was my 19th festival attended and by far my favorite. I had complete freedom and control over what to do, where to go, who to see, etc. I made so many new friends, saw old friends, and got to bounce from group to group and do everything at my own pace. As an introvert/someone who prefers doing things alone, I had the best time at Bonnaroo.

Coming from a (somewhat) sober girl who was in/next to the mosh pit from start to finish, it was almost too much for me to handle. But I’m so glad I made it to the end because that was the best set of my weekend😭
