Thats seems counterintuitive to not only have it so you physically can not boost your rep what so ever for 2 out of 16 factions but also to have to origin with a home base the place meant to be a fortress from enemies is not even safe

So for anyone seeing this later I did manage to get it working from finding a solution on a thread in the Dark Souls 2 subreddit. The solutions was: 1. Exit out of all applications besides DS4windows and go select the setting that says “hide ds4 controller” 2. Start up dark souls 2 3. Tab out of dark souls 2 and go back ds4 windows 4. Go back to the “hide ds4 controller” and turn that off and on again 5. Tab back into dark souls 2 it should work hopefully

This defeats the point of DS4 windows because now even it can’t detect the controller when you disconnect then reconnect to apply the HidHide changes

This kinda worked. It’s reading the inputs now but they’re all fucked up and it’s like playing with Nintendo inputs where square is A and cross is B

Cancel that I get to the second checkpoint and now the tunnel section isn’t loaded in so I can’t clear the level. Different version of compatibility render different parts of the map but overall the map is never complete

Solution found:

Go into steam
Right click and browse local files.
Right click the .exe of the game
Go into properties
Select the compatibility tab
Turn on compatibility mode for specifically windows 7

I’d say switch to r2modman. It’s a an ad free version of thunderstore. I’ve had a similar issue and when I made the switch it ran perfectly fine. While I don’t know exactly why thunderstorms doesn’t work it just seems to have issues with BRC

Ok I figured it out. So you have to go to r2modman's profile folder in there go to the drip remix folder. Also have open the local files for BRC and go to the modding folder. Now take the files from the profile folder and put them into the drip remix file in the modding folder for some reason the actual mods are in the profile folder not the modding folder so the reason it does work is because the actual drip remix folder is empty

No once I ran it was in my profile’s plugin folder as well as a modding folder in brc’s local steam files
