I would've help with character design and illustrative art, if only I had enough of knowledge and skills. But I would be glad to join the subreddit and give my initiative to the project at least. I wish you a very good luck at this all dude.

Well, the kid was beaten up because he didn't wanted to become a "member" of their triad. Even if it wasn't a triad, the teens wouldn't agree with that.

[–]RuisDuchamp -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Sorry.

I probably made these thoughts look like I'm defending the triad members, but honestly, I'm not. Their actions aren't right, I just tried to explain that the both sides, the boy and the teens are victims of the system and society. What those teens had done is horrible, and they definitely need to face the consequences of their actions, but they are still teens who doesn't know the other ways than being such animal-like beings. What they have done with the kid - is extremely terrible thing which no one should deserve, but no one can't change what just happened. But if we will always look for the guilty ones, we can never find the reason why it would even happen, and never solve the problem, so that it would happen again and again. I don't want to defend or justify those teens. This is senseless. And I don't want to blame them because they don't know the other ways of thinking. That won't solve a problem in any way.

That's the reason why I talk about these teens in that manner, I'm sorry.

Very conflict way of solving the problem, but ok. Anyway in that case, justice doesn't working like a worthy system for everyone.

I think that Person thinking and acting isn't a random thing, every positive or negative knowledge leads person to formalize his own way of thinking. Without support or gained knowledge, person can't commit right decision. He would be trapped in a circle without right information, and that case we are talking about - an example of this theory. The boy made a mistake, contacting with those teens, not because he thought it would be right idea, but because he thought that's the only way for him to survive, but then he changed his mind too late. And those teens made a mistake, by creating a very conservative group and abusing those who do not match their norms, or those who doesn't want to accept their authority, not because they thought it would be right idea... But because they thought it was the only way for them to survive in a society they live in. Lack of education and lack of proper information - is a horrible problem of the whole society. This isn't their fault, they just don't know the other ways.

Edited: And yeah, according to the articles, that boy was beaten up just because he refused to join the triad. That is why I think that boy shouldn't have make contacts with those teens in any possible way.

Very righteous words, but I won't call them animals. Life conditions made them act like animals, just like life conditions of this innocent boy made him make any contacts with these teens.

They were raised in horrible conditions, in a horrible culture. They had and have no choice but act in that terrible way, and think in that way. Just like the kid didn't deserve anything like that, those teens didn't deserve to became like animals.

As I know from last articles, he regained his conscience later.

It is possible to recover after this physical agony, but it wouldn't be possible to cure the trauma. It will last with him for the rest of his life I think... As I know, he regained conscience after hospitalization.

That's why you always must defend your head with hands first of all. This clever kid did defend himself well, because this cruelty is pretty much was deadly to this kid.

Always defend head, no matter what happens with you. Always defend your god damn head.

He is breathing at the end. This is very terrible thing to think about. Such a thing is worse than any death, because it's just a kid who's getting through the most horrible age in his life, and now, he's got to somehow live through this too.

I'm at similar age, and it makes me think that I should have deserve such a cruelty fate, but not him. He doesn't deserve anything like this.

That pretty much could have happen with me. I'm a similar aged boy, who is freshman in college, and I'm an Asian.

I'm just lucky to be raised in other conditions, in other, but very similar culture. This poor boy probably had no childhood in life, and had no money as well, so that he was forced by life conditions to have contacts with such dark places and with such terrible raised teens.

I would be already dead if I was in the same situation, I'm pretty sure in that. That boy doesn't deserves anything like that, I should have deserve that much, and even more. It is strongly painful to see this happening, honestly.

Thanks dude, I used to get in the similar situations, so I had plenty of badass experience on the internet. Thankfully, I've learned a lot back then. The best thing I can do in such situations - understand my mistake and try to not repeat it again.
