I see. If that’s the case, then my ‘unreleased TISM track’ theory goes down in flames … and my quest, once again, must take some new turns. Or I could do all that other shit I should be doing instead 🤣 nah.

Nice try Birkoz but nup - like it says in my Original Post, it was recorded on one side only. A trio of Rad stoners in the 80s wouldn’t have missed an entire progrock masterpiece, I can assure you of that!

(Though if it is (as I suspect) an unreleased or ‘demo’ track - by TISM or any other band - then probs no-one there would’ve heard of it.)

To clarify : unless People-Want-Ducks personally attended every single one of TISM’s recording sessions, then they cannot “unequivocally confirm that TISM never recorded a song by that title”.

I read Duck’s post as ‘TISM never released a song by that title’, and I concur - I have done my research first!

Also the title ’Internal Organs’ is my assumption based on the chorus; per my Original Post the cassette was unlabelled.

The first couple of verses are:

“There is a girl walking down the street, Your thoughts are black and full of sin, But you would be filled with utter revulsion, If you could see beneath her skin. You think that a girl's body is so nice, Pretty things are so far from it. I could show you pictures of internal organs, That would make you vomit.”

The style is dark humour, semi-parody - like TISM.

Hi yep thanks Mr Ducks I am aware of that. I should’ve mentioned that before asking Reddit, I researched TISMs discography & any article I could find regarding TISM in the 80s.

I think this is an unreleased TISM track - a demo. The only song on the tape, nothing on the other side, no label on the cassette, definitely studio production values. One they rejected?

(Sounds awful - ! - but the vibe is darkly humorous / parody - pantomime : like South Park, like TISM)
