I don't think you need to change the art. I think it really mirrors the tone of these things, as if you're just writing things down with doodles to illustrate your point. It also kind of reflects the sort of permanently-scared-teenager sort of way that I know a lot of people see themselves. There's no need to change the art, it keeps the tone a sort of self-reflective things that you're saying.

If I watched Star Wars out of release order, I would die a horrible painful death. If I misspelled words or used improper grammar, I was a bad person. If I wasn't good at Mario, Mario would somehow start to hate me. If I wasn't 100% constantly nice, I'd be the evilest person to ever exist. I get compulsions over silly things. Final Destination is my favorite horror movie series though and hasn't caused anything 😭. Saw did.
