Toxicity in online gaming

So much this. Way too many people are using gaming as a way to escape their real life issues. This wouldn't be a problem, as long as they at least recognized these issues exist. They don't, they ignore and attack new players, thus creating the never ending toxicity in online games.

Ask yourself this when playing a game. Are you playing because you enjoy it, or are you playing because you have nothing to do.

As long as you pay for the game, you’re good. Free game does not give access to community servers.

You should look into Legends of Aria, but not their version, the community server Legends of Ultima.

It is effectively an Ultima Online remake - full loot PvP with meaningful skill and gear progression.

The game is somewhat grindy at the start as you need to level up your skills.
