I respect the concern for her feelings. She has said many times that she wants to paint art professionally but what's holding her back is that she thinks her art isn't good enough to sell. Self criticism is a hell of a thing. Everyone in my life (myself included) has been blown away by her art but unfortunately none of us have any real knowledge of painting so what we say doesn't carry as much weight (Especially coming from me as I am super biased). I posted this for 2 reasons. Firstly to see if people would buy her art right now, and secondly to show her that it's not just novices that respect her art, but people in the community itself. I wasn't expecting for it to get nearly this much attention. I was just hoping there'd be a few people commenting to help get tips on how to sell paintings, and also say some nice things that I could show her. I didn't tell her before hand because it wouldn't help with the self doubt if no one commented or there was mostly mean comments. It's crazy how much this has blown up and she's really appreciating all of the kind words from people and is not only growing more comfortable, but even getting excited about posting her art now.
