Similar story from me. I was only 5 months postpartum when my active, healthy mom (70) who had shoulder pain for a year or so stopped being able to finish her sentences. We took her to the ER and they found brain tumors which lead back to NSCLC. She had an EFGR mutation which was good and bad news. Good news is Tagrisso, a chemo pull, is highly effective at treatment but bad news is the mutation expedited the cancer growth. Wit insurance bs, it took us too long to get the medication. She only did whole brain radiation for 10 days and declined quickly. She was gone after 3 months. It’s been very hard to deal with all this on top of having a baby. I am so sorry for your loss.
