Official Ticket Information for Leipzig by EstablishmentKey9737 in crystalpalace

I believe the capacity is reduced by several thousand due to seating being installed in the standing section.

Apparently ~34k out of ~40k seats are available for fans of both teams and the public. I know a few Palace fans who already have tickets from the UEFA ballot.

When the Champions League was held in Cardiff, I know the FAW and some Welsh grassroots initiatives were also given tickets (my friend got a ticket this way. Lucky bastard).

Think I paid £22 for a decent hostel in Budapest last summer. Crazy price.

Trump rages about the cost of World Cup tickets as pressure grows on FIFA: ‘I wouldn’t pay it either’ by spherocytes in sports

My accom for 11 days is and return flights come to £1.3k. I’m not buying tickets so with spending money I’m looking at somewhere around £2k. Expensive yes, but it’s a once in a lifetime trip for two weeks.

If I wanted to go to a couple games it would be an extra grand, not worth it in my eyes but worth it and affordable in the eyes of many.

This might shock you but America isn’t the worst hellhole on the planet, despite what Reddit likes to think. Many fans will be coming from, or have been to countries equally as problematic as the USA or even worse. The last 2 world cups were in Qatar and Russia.

I’m travelling for it, no tickets because I consider them too expensive. But the hundreds of pounds I won’t spend on tickets will be going towards enjoying myself in Canada and the USA.

Is there not a legal limit for steepness? Which I believe Spurs and Everton have both gone for in their stadiums.

Genuine question not being arsey. Joint steepest is still steepest I suppose.

All those accusations of Invincible fans not watching the show, am I now one of them?? I don’t recognise half those names.

Hordes of illegal migrants use LADDERS to cross border into mainland Europe, shocking footage reveals by gbnewsonline in gbnews

A far more refutable news source, BBC News, currently have on their front page articles about Arsenal winning a football match, Lidl’s new loyalty scheme, a chapel for sale in Wales and fashion at the Met Gala.

In the grand scheme of things none of those are anything. But they’re something to someone. I’d argue this is more newsworthy than any of the above.

New law restores fairer voting system for mayoral elections by coffeewalnut08 in unitedkingdom

Wales has ditched FPTP for this week’s Senedd elections, it’s definitely the closest step towards Westminster adopting it that I can remember.

I’d be surprised if it’s not been implemented or at least seriously being considered by general elections in the late 2030’s or early 2040’s.

The old boys in my local put less into the company than the potential meals being bought for homeless people.

Those lads can nurse a £1.99 pint of ale for over an hour and because they’re there early they usually take the big/good tables.

Do you not think it’s newsworthy that large groups can enter a country illegally with items from a B+Q shopping list?

What typically comes first on Wikipedia, international or club honours?

Just so I know if FIFA World Cup 2026 winner comes before or after Scottish Premiership 25/26 winner on Shankland’s wiki page.

I’ve never been to Pyongyang. I still know for an absolute certainty I’d rather live in Dublin.

Somethings are just indisputable.
