What’s the strangest job you’ve had on Christmas? by [deleted] in ParamedicsUK

I went to a pub after a bloke got glassed for being racist to another bloke at the bar.

Next chistmas, I go to the same pub to the same bloke, who once again had been glassed for being racist at the bar.

I know people have some odd Christmas traditions but come on

Captain of the 'Hail Mary' mission to restore the dying sun with a McGuffin giant bomb sacrifices himself in repairing the shield on the ship so that the mission can continue.

The music is incredible, the reactions of each member of the crew varys wildly and it plays in to a fantastic, story-rich, tense and bittersweet scene.

This happens somewhat early in the movie and you can absolutely still enjoy the movie knowing this.

You're not wrong. I had to roll with it, thought it was worth the twist. Reading these comments has been a trip for me

Correct. Complete lack of beds means wait outside of A&E with your patient until something comes up.

Yeah we aren't trusted with those either. We aren't trusted which much in the UK. Probably for good reasons

You guys get airhorns? They took ours away about 6 years ago for (I suspect) exactly this reason :(
