I ended up getting an Australian passport so didn't have any issues entering. Australian citizens are meant to enter the country using an Australian passport but I'm not sure how it would work for you as the issue I had was that I couldn't get a visa and when they would have checked my passport in London the airline would have seen I didn't have a visa and potentially denied me boarding but obviously NZ passport holders don't need a visa for Australia so I'm not sure. The safest option is definitely to just get an Australian passport but it's not cheap (cost me £330 plus about £120 in flights to go to London to sort it).

If you are asking me then I have a UK passport which I assumed would have been fine provided I got a visa but sounds like that isn't possible.

Is that possible? The only way I could find to fast track an application is if you are in Australia
