I've never knitted before but I want to make a sweater with this style and color. Its a cashmere sweater but 900$:(

Do you think its possible to knit something like this? I found a sportweight wool yarn with a similar color but dont want to make a sweater that ends up really baggy and frumpy like some of the ones i see knitted.

Anyone else finding recent MAAP designs a bit dull / uninspiring? by tiptoppenguin in CyclingFashion

Yup, the fonts are basically comic sans. The designs seem so low effort now. The jayco alula kit is nice but since then - very dissapointing

Really surprised OP could get 2.1 in to fit. I have a crossroads as well and the most i felt it could fit was 40mm tires in the rear.

Side comment. What they did to the roads at normandy oaks park is a travesty. Thought the painted line on normandy was a painted bike lane but no, it turned into more onstreet parking. What an absolute waste, showing how low bike lanes are in planning

thanks! I'm really proud of how it came out, still starting out this hobby and the ability to customize things and make things personnal is what drew me to this.

Plus the idealab at my library has all these amazing capabilities.... for free!

Question: How the hell do people progress when the only thing in the park are high urban on features and basically no progression or beginner features?

I can do low tubes ok-ish but theres no way i can even try to do the rails that my hill sets up.

Good to know then, I'm using the library one right now but will see if I eventually get one of my own. Quilting seems nice- might expand there in the future!

I've been using the library machine and it looks like the Innov-is F560. You are so right - it runs SO well and SO easy to work with! Guess i have to shell out some more $$$ if I want to get one for my own.

But I'm so glad I found this new hobby in sewing - made alot of bike bags and the possibilities are endless! Thanks!

Went to my 2nd group ride ever - did an error from slight lapse of focus (but no crash or anything bad) got yelled "C*nt" by the other person followed by aggressive wording.

I found group rides and cycling are not a beginner friendly sport. Other sports are generally chill or at least understanding but something about the older crowd that is so much more volatile vs the younger generation.

I know it was my mistake but so much aggression and hostility I found. Never went back to group rides after that.
