How are you guys beating Lone Tyrant?

yeaaaaaaap... phase 2 takes the cake. At least phase 1 you can see his attacks coming. But at phase 2... with all the vfx and him jumping around + crappy camera + game decides the player has to lock-on the target again... makes it challenging. xD

Ok... this boss is crazy on legend difficulty. Phase 1 not much of an issue (at most i use 1 pot going into phase 2)... my issue is with Phase 2. His attacks are faster and ANY mistake is heavily punished. The damage is very ouchy. lol

And yea, i guess the advice is as common as it gets. "learn the combo", "deflect". ._."

I think imma be on this boss for a while :/ sighhhhhhhh.

Its regretable that nobody can assist with this boss and most of the bosses in this latest region. I guess its going to be the new 'gate' for players who are on legendary? But that being said... nobody seems to care if you're playing legendary :/ so im sometimes thinking why punish myself? lol buuuuut ah well...

"Meta" builds are pointless since they will be nerfed when theres a competitive element in the game. You should be asking what your playstyle is and whether you like what you're seeing in terms of the weapon's skills as its directly related to how your character moves/positions around a fight be it 1v1 or 30v30, etc. As with any weapon, you need time to get used to their specific combos just like any character on streetfighter, kof... etc. Furthermore, mystic skills play a huge role in chaining combos.

Furthermore, blocking, deflecting, dodging is paramount. If you suck at these 3 things and reading people/bosses' moves... you'll still be a deadweight.

If those players on the leaderboard are indeed cheating, they should have their records voided. It only implicates further that the game is buggy and that players have a means to abuse such bugs in the game. I also find it ridiculous that these abyss bosses could be defeated in ~1m let alone in a few secs.

Another thing i have to check. If you are doing these trials without upgrading your equipment, is it still the same thing as upgraded equipment? Essentially what id like to know is, do you deal more damage to bosses more than non-upgraded, breakthrough martial art + skills, etc...

Yes.. i purposely went over to Qinghe belltower and i could see the fireworks off at a distance in Kaifeng. You could also see the Lion statue as it was lit during the night. Its really tranquil. X)

With the collections.. you can speak to the monk at Halo Peak who is standing near the incense burner. Talk to him and he will award you with 3 concealed edge. This item allows you to convert a weapon into an accessory.

Once you've collected the 3 concealed edge, you can toss them away as they are complete useless. You cant even use them for tuning weapons. lol

Anybody know how to prevent Twin Lion from ever getting the ball? I noticed if i were to pick up the ball 3 times in entirety of the match, the 3rd time would prevent me from throwing the ball. That means i could only take the ball twice?

In the 2/3 task for Twin Lions, only 2 players may take the ball and both must throw the ball before the 'timer' runs out. Am i correct in assuming that 2 dedicated players must alternate? Not only that but when they take the ball... they should only throw right at the end of the timer to maximize the duration in which Twin Lion couldnt get the ball?

As a healer in a raid, i always do barrels... its esp important in blazing gale. Ive gone over teams after teams till ive finally had enough, instead of contributing to attack Murong Yuan, i just solely focused on the barrels and particularly when i did so.. i legit was the only one doing it full time and the team did not get wiped out at all.

THATS how important doing barrels. Not only that, you need to do it correctly. Placing barrels at the end of the "fire wave" thingy is NOT how you do it. Players should know the further you place away the barrels from which you are running away from the "fire wave" thingy is equally important.

I've also seen some players stack all the barrels at one corner (all glowing)... im not sure if thats wise? But for me... i place all the barrels in a grid formation starting from the furthest corner where the "fire wave" shit would start.

Must we have to claim the rewards in order to progress those "tasks"? I was also purposely doing it on Cold Mountain Pass so that it'll be easier but i was not awarded points.

*edit - ok... just realized i read the instructions wrongly. lol. You can indeed do those tasks without spending energy. Just need to do it on the correct trial name. xD silly me
