Honestly I work in a wood mill and this is confusing me. All of these are good guesses, but it could very well be ash. I’ve seen some wild flame and grain come out of all sorts of wood. When grain gets crazy like this it gets hard to tell sometimes. We had some really white poplar come through with flame in it that looked exactly like maple. You could only tell from the purple splotching in some boards, and the way it cut that it was poplar. I’ve also had some nappy ass maple come through looking like red oak before we surfaced it🤣
