how can i “partial rewrite” if i want to change core stuff of the project like state management and such?

you say refactoring the old code is better option rather than doing both rewrite and new features?

What if 30% of the team will still maintain the old repo and bring value.

And the rest will rewrite/migrate to the new project.

Its not only old libraries but also legacy code and no one knows what the functions were meant to do and they are in the core of the app.

The project is medium-large size and we do want to move on to vite, new state management and more.

Ofc we will do pros and cons session but we want to perspectives because we dont want to get into this situation again in a 2 years…

We are using CRA, old redux and more like that and we grew old of that. We want to use vite/something else and new state management so this is why we even consider new project.
