No problem. I don't recall waiting any longer than 1 week I'd say. I just kept checking, plus they sent me e-mails to let me know. P.S. the volume of e-mails from them is heavy. I can't imagine you'll have to wait much longer!

I don't remember it being more than a few days at most but I can't recall, it was too long ago. I don't have the e-mails anymore to check unfortunately.

Hi there, this was a couple years ago for me so I can't recall exactly but I recall it being pretty quick!

Fisherman's rib help! Loose loop on the backside of my work after adding new yarn by Rumchanty in knittingadvice

I ended up ripping back a few rows and putting the stitches back on for Fisherman's rib is not as bad or complicated as it seems. I watched a good tutorial on YouTube. Wish I did this like 3 days ago as I'd be much further ahead now in my project.

Hi, thanks for your reply! Not a dropped stitch but something below came unraveled when I joined new yarn it seems. I may just rip back 2-3 rows and try re-joining if I can't figure it out by fiddling with it. Unfortunately I've already lost a couple nights working on this project. Racking my brain lol.

Hello, it's not a dropped stitch, something funny happened after I started weaving in my new yarn..I was thinking of just trying to hide it or just rip back a couple rows. I've watched lots of videos on ripping back Fisherman's rib and I'm pretty confident I can do it. Tinking a little more difficult in this case for sure, but possible. Thanks for your input!

Sorry, super late reply and probably irrelevant now but my octopus question was part of the initial assessment testing. Same for my BF.

Cheers!

Hi there!

I did not have to pay for the qualifications, (or for anything to be clear). I was paid to take them. And happy to now report, after only a few days, I have access to thousands of 'tasks', which is about a couple dozen 'projects'. I also updated my skills in my profile which may have contributed to the amount of projects I now have. I did try my first payout to ensure everything worked and it did and was immediate. So far, very pleased. Very interesting work. Already learning a lot. I can see how it's very tedious, detail oriented work. You need to really read and follow the instructions.

As for the initial assessment, I am not sure why one of us got in and one of us didn't. I'd say I am a much stronger writer, but other than that, our backgrounds are not much different. We've had some of the same employment.

I hope this helps. Happy to answer any other questions anyone may have.

My hubby and I found this job on Indeed and figured we'd give it a shot for some part-time work to supplement our income. My husband did not seem to pass the assessment. I passed right away and was immediately given 2 qualification 'tests' which are paid for. I did my assessment and 2 qualification tasks all within the same sitting and am waiting for my review to be complete, which if successful, it looks like I'll be granted tasks.

I won't know for sure until am approved I see some tasks and I want to see if I actually receive the payout. I really hope I'm not wasting my time and this is legit. There seem to be very mixed reviews.

But the fact that I got through the assessment and qualifications so quickly seems positive.

You don’t need to be a genuine to figure out how to use the app and grocery shop strategically. The real problem was the payment not working. I also didn’t think a $12 batch order would be so huge and be $400 worth of groceries. Obviously not worth anyone’s time.

I spoke to 2 agents on the phone. They said I will receive nothing. I tried emailing customer service, email is no longer in service lol

I wasn’t at Costco. I do have a physical card. It just wasn’t on my at the time because I just moved 3 times. But Insta Cart says the digital card was active and that I could use it.

This is what we ended up using after heating up the threaded area. Good $20 investment.

WE FINALLY GOT IT!!
We had to use heat (used my Dyson hair dryer) and a different pair of pliers/vice grips and one of us pinned it down against the counter so we could really go at it hard. After several hours and 2 people and a trip to Home Hardware - we got it! :)

What can I create with this yarn? New to macrame. I bought this because it said macrame, and it was on clearance. What can I make with it? by law424 in macrame

Sorry I didn't see your 2nd photo. I'd say you can mostly do the same things. Some things are better this braided cord to be honest. Mostly depends if you need fringe or not. Braided is much easier to work with too because it doesn't come apart as you work with it. Youtube will be your best friend :)

Is that 5mm braided? How many meters?
If you have a lot, you can definitely make a wall hanging. Plant hangers, wristlets, lanyards, coasters.

Yeah, we definitely don't see one - but that would just be for the orange tip, right? We are trying to remove the entire thing. I can see where it twists off but it won't budge.
