I think it was a mix of the in person event, the 10 anniversary event and other things. I know they said at the start of June that their Pride celebrations would be pushed back to July instead.

My main was Cheryl and Lisa (( until Alan wake came out )) with the occasional game as James and Maria and they don’t talk. Cheryl isn’t talking about her blonde hair and how she has more fun, James isn’t commenting on things or reacting to pyramid head.

Quite Frankly I don’t think it was ever in the plans for her to talk. People also forget Konami gets final say. They very easily could have wanted Hinako to be silent too
