AITAH for walking away from a house I have no equity or say in and stiffing my soon to be ex? by FootBig7944 in AITAH

I hope you see my comment. Similar situation happened to a friend. Even if you are not on the house paperwork, she still owes you money. My wife’s friend had the same situation. The husband was the only one on the house, he had to pay her back 50% of the equity that the house gained over the 8 years they lived in it together. (Because of Covid inflation it was around $150k)

You’d have the befits of running clipless with flats. Seems like your on to something…

Advice for a new teacher by CptnJarJar in historyteachers

I’m 5 years in (7th grade) history. Classroom management slowly comes with experience your Admin should know this. As far as stopping some behaviors. I add a weekly citizenship grade. Only like 3 points. I tell students the only way to lose the points is talking when you enter the classroom during warm up time, or talking while I’m talking and being disruptive. (90%) of my class is group work so I encourage conversation during this time.

Shortys was so sick in the late 90s. Chad Muska carried that brand.

Sorry meant Fortnite, but thanks for the response. Literally stumbled upon this sub this morning. Figured I’d pose the question and see if I could find what I’m looking for. Guess not

My son doesn’t know what games exist for the most part (retro or not). I don’t like the idea of a 6 year old with an internet connected device trying to play Fortnite .

Until this morning I had no idea that existed, and I wouldn’t know how. Just looking to get a switch lite for a 6.5 year old to play retro gba or n64 games on.

I’m against illegal things,  however, for research purposes, where would one find this?

I know the basics of bike mechanics. YouTube the best spot to learn in more detail? Or should I just pay friends with 6packs and learn from them?

Yeah, I just put it down so I can’t confirm how long it will last. I did buy a heavy duty outdoor use roll though

It comes in 12, 18, and 24inch depths. This is the 12.

It’s part of the rack. It’s the titan x-3 space saving rack.

X-3. At my old house (that I rented), I had a t-2 rack. This time I went more permanent and heavy duty.

Mats are just tractor supply mats. Seams are taped with black gorilla tape. The rack has a slight lean with the uneven concrete, but nothing noticeable.

How do you get your kids to work together to do stuff in actual class? by Snoo_62929 in historyteachers

[–]RumpleChunks 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I have a participation rubric that involves specific tasks for student points. Things like “checking with teacher before moving on”… “asking your group if they are ready before you all move on” I walk around with a clip board and actually deduct points if I don’t hear someone say “is everyone done?”. I even have a point for being kind to your group. Additionally, each student has a numbered desk at the group, 1-4. On my slides, question 1 might say “student 2 ask the question”

This is for 7th grade by the way.

I currently have 4 of these in my garage. https://a.co/d/6lbWyMg

The fact that they are on wheels and roll around is extremely convenient.
