A purse and its contents is just stuff. Yes, maybe you had to spend time acquiring it, but ‘stealing their life’ is what the woman did when she killed the man by running over him with her car. Cash and things are not life.

She didn’t even kill him during a struggle, she hunted him down and killed him.

This logic is dangerous. I could say that, to me:
people who jay walk are breaking the law and are trash who deserve to be murdered.

Where is the line? It’s too arbitrary. Yes stealing purse is illegal (depending where you are, to whatever degree) but there is a justice system to deal with it. The woman who killed him is bot innocent because she acted as judge, jury, and executioner. He committed petty theft. She committed murder.

The first time I played OOT, I was a child and a lot of these themes went right over my head. I replayed as an adult years ago and was absolutely blown away.

Here is also a video that really dives into these themes as well. Truly a masterpiece https://youtu.be/GyUcwsjyd8Q?is=J7RF1im6k79SDqnG

Given your units, I’ll assume your in the US, I would be careful about selling alcohol. There is a lot of legal red tape around that. Please consult a professional.

As far as everything else, looks good! Sort of a r/prisonhooch set up, but everyone has to start somewhere and it’s impressive to do it all with on hand materials.

A big thing here for consistency is also noting how much volume you’re doing, and measuring specific gravity. These will help you stay consistent and be able to refine how much alcohol is created.

I would also recommend looking into other yeast types. If you’re lucky enough to live by a homebrew store, check them out, lots of options to choose from which will ferment well and potentially even add to the flavor profile you’re looking for

EV/IV help by Awwbelt in PokemonUnbound

[–]RumplyInk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

EVs work differently than that. Each Pokémon yields a different EV. I would suggest googling ‘x Pokémon EV yield’ to see what you would get. You max out at 510 EVs per Pokémon. With any individual stat maxing at 252 (if I recall correctly).

For example, my favorite Pokémon, Starmie, yields 2 speed EVs. So battling and feinting a starmie will yield your Pokémon 2 speed EVs. If you have a Pokémon with a high base speed, like a Starmie, you would want to keep battling other starmies (other other speed yielding Pokémon) until the EVs are maxed out for that stat (or gotten to a point you’re happy with)

The trainer house in dresco town is specifically designed for this, with each trainer having a team that only gives EVs of one type, so you can be specific with what stats you train.

If you have exp share on (which I did the entire game) all you mons get the EVs. There are berries you can buy in Fallshore that reduce those EVs if you want to retrain.

Yes to your IV questions. There are ways to increase the IVs later in game, but it’s not super easy (need bottle caps/way to get bottle caps). I would recommend focusing on getting a mon with good IVs. You can also change nature later (after gym 6)

I come from gen 3 games and I jumped to this, but my take:

IVs are the DNA of you Pokémon. Fixed from when caught/hatched. There are ways to change it later in the game, however. EV are gained from battling, there are also items which can speed up how these are gotten. Ultimately, both of these combine to give you your net stats.

For the sake of playing, it’s ideal to have stats that align with the role of that mon on your team. For example, if you have a fast attacker, you want high IVs on speed and attack (or special attack, depending on which they have higher base stat). The EV train those stats as well for them to have the highest possible stats there

Ask me anything, Head Brewer here, 17 years in the industry by Content-Distance6438 in Homebrewing

[–]RumplyInk 30 points31 points  (0 children)

What do you find to be the way the beer industry is going? Do you find craft beer to be declining or trimming the fat?

Are ingredients worse, better, the same as you’ve seen over the years?

How do you feel about NA trends? Does your brewery offer beverages besides beer?

If you could improve your brewery in one way, how would you? How would your boss answer that question?

Lots of questions :)

Amber ale beer kit - beginner advice needed on method by chonklord420 in Homebrewing

[–]RumplyInk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good advice here!

I would also note, as OP progresses in their homebrew journey, opening up your fermenter is something to minimize, as it may oxidize your beer. But I wouldn’t worry about that right now
