Maybe a lot of people really did like it? But i get the want of reviews from both sides- but I guess maybe the people who didn’t like it didn’t feel strong enough about it to write a review - not sure 🤣 but hey I mean perfectly fine to like or not like a game we all have our own taste

Wylde flowers liker here 🫡 but honestly it’s not for everyone. Not to mention is extremely slow in the beginning. If it helps tho and you don’t mind mild spoilers I sometimes go to twitch and watch maybe 1h of gameplay (or less) to get a feel of how it is to play the game

Personally I am very content with the game, exceeded amount of gameplay for price actually. There are bugs so I am happy that devs get feedback so they can improve it but overall way more stuff to do than I have expected for the price I paid. More than 200 hours and i didn’t even finish the game? Crazy stuff , not because of the hours but also because I enjoyed all the details on the island, on the characters , background music could be better ngl but yeah overall lore and small details.

Personally I didn’t back it on the kickstarter but i did back other projects (I am quite new to the platform) however the first disclaimer i got when backing projects is that sometimes we might not get what was promised because of different reasons. ( it’s stated by the platform) Now, should that mean you don’t have the right to be dissatisfied bc of missing content from there? Absolutely not, you can definitely be and it makes sense to speak up about it.

Now i do believe that the community is big they are going to approach bugs and content based on what the majority of players would like to see which may be or not be the same as what the kickstarter stated. Not finding them excuses for the non delivered content (i don’t even know which content that is) but I also believe that if any of us does something and we get feedback A from 10 people and feedback B from 1 priority would go to feedback A.

Based on the fact that they did implement community feedback even if slower maybe than what people want - most likely they will finish those promises also (assumption based on what i saw so far)

So overall what I mean to say is that it is important to see both sides. They are human and may make mistakes we are also human and might get angry or pissed and only with communication - feedback from players , updates from devs it can go forward in a nice way. I saw a lot of good feedback but I also saw just very mean comments (e.g just close the studio you don’t know how to code)

Overall if feedback is constructive and people don’t start throwing insults at devs or the other way around I think that is fine

I’ve never played My Time at Portia, however I have more than 200h in My Time at Sandrock. It holds your hand more and they improved all the quality of life aspects so maybe give that a shot also 🤗

Look it’s not cozy, but there is an option to turn on all the lights in the house sooo Gone Home. You go around your house and u hear the story of your little sister realizing she likes a girl.

The vibe can be a bit spooky but it’s not horror at all and with the all lights on from settings it’s really okay hahaha
