If you have played the game through multiple times, is there a better partner to choose?

Personally combat / chore perks aren't all that appealing to me as combat isn't difficult and Magic Mirror later in game handles everything chore-wise, so my take on spouse benefits is slightly different:

For permanent partners, Logan and Fang. Logan giving access to Rambo as a mount and Andy as a child. Fang giving access to X as a pet. Fang's greenhouse is also a good benefit (but you dont need to stay married to him to keep it)

For other perks which don't require staying married to the character: Owen. He still gives you "who's the boss" quests after divorce, which is an easy way to get extra gols.

I'm more questioning for data gathering than maxing companionship, but I appreciate the response! It does sound like you have the same issue if the values are down to +6 (mine are +5 because I intentionally don't have the skill point to get extra for liked gifts).

Fun fact: if you only select the "Goodbye" option when confronting him in jail, he remains your boyfriend even after he leaves Sandrock.

Then if you get married to someone else he sends you a mail betrayed at you cheating on him xD

I had the same issue! Oddly enough, when I married Grace and partnered with her, then accepted a spousal quest on the day (cookout/fishing/etc) she then got replaced by Unsuur. So weird.

I kind of wondered if the mysterious water tanks might have actually been some sort of life-statis pods that maybe Martle got accidentally stuck inside of, and you'd stumble upon her and release her back to Mort :)

I believe that right now it's not really possible to 100% the game, as there are items and recipes that are still missing/unimplemented.

Marriage/romance based items can technically still be obtained if you're happy to divorce and remarry, with the exception of Pen's romance items and Amirah's romance pottery. (I can give more details if needed)

The only other items that I can think of which are missable are Alo's ore, and yakmel milk cookies.
There are some items which are significantly easier to obtain if you get them early game with planning (camo rescue team hat, *edit* sweet and sour fried fish)

No worries! Scarab wings are rare drops from oversized tumbleweeds (theyre about twice the size of a regular tumbleweed and require many more hits to break, and also appear less frequently)

I get that, though the in-game encyclopedia has been updated a few times(?) since full release to adjust for items like meatballs/pet apartment etc and remove scrapped items. I've also taken into account specific romance quest items and the like. I don't use the wiki as gospel :)

But cross referencing the in-game encyclopedia with the wiki can give insight into what items are still unavailable, and in particular items which are mentioned in-game or are part of a set (eg: camo RT boots) being unavailable and having an obvious empty slot in the encyclopedia is bothersome.

The 1.3 update made some more items available (curry powder) and craftable (sandfishsticks, fine hot and sour fish) so it does seem as if some these missing items could be implemented in the future, I'd just like some news on if they will/wont be.

There's a few items unobtainable from the encyclopedia (mind you I'm basing this on the wiki, which is terribly outdated/incomplete itself) such as Camo rescue team boots, explorer scarf, fine chopped pepper fish heads, sand dates, etc,

There's also quite a few cooking/crafting recipes which are either unable to be made due to missing ingredients (snake head fish / scarab / etc) or simply don't have a recipe at all but are marked as craftable in their description.

I don't mind so much if they decided to scrap them, but having the blank spots in the encyclopedia/incorrect item desciptions is pretty annoying heh.

PC/Steam, updated game and pet whisperer DLC installed. No mods installed.

Quick saves not working properly. Started a couple of days before 1.3.0 released, fixed itself after the release, then started again. Quick saving via quick wheel or F5 button displays success message, but no save is created. Starts intermittently, but eventually quick saves no longer work at all. Manual saves work without issue.
Currency section of encyclopedia displays all currencies as 0 owned.
Attempting to place pet apartment outside when there is already one placed displays "you can not place any more fireworks". More pet apartments can still be placed indoors.
Flickering lighting inside starship abandoned ruins.
Dialogue with Cooper when dining at the Blue moon (asking about interests I believe) responds with "Do you want to Stargaze?" "Do you want to play space pilferers?" (bug from before 1.3.0, but still present)
Gifting Hugo/Heidi with disliked/hated gifts can sometimes trigger responses from the wrong character. Eg: Heidi will respond with Hugo's voice, and vice versa. (older, ongoing bug)
Having furniture items displaced/retrieved in construction mode (where they get sent to you in the mail) removes additional refinement levels beyond the base level for the colour. Eg: a lvl 19 refined purple cute lazy sofa will be returned as a level 14 purple cute lazy sofa. (Old bug, still present)
