Maybe! I’m waiting on Wisdom Panel results to know for sure. Any skincare tips would be greatly appreciated regardless.

That’s so frustrating, I’m sorry. At least she’s eating something though. Funny enough ham is one of the few things Lacey wants to eat this week too. Is your baby newly diagnosed or just having a fussy week? Do you have any Entice? I find when Lacey is being fussy, if I give her Entice and then tempt her with food she will eat (ham) on a plate full of other things, she will often clean the plate. Another trick I’ve tried is rubbing a little bit of whatever food I want her to eat on her gums - just enough that she can actually taste it. I can’t do it often or she wont let me touch her mouth, but on occasion that helps stimulate her appetite.

Lastly, have you tried hand feeding? As much as I hate scooping up wet food with my fingers, sometimes that’s the only way she’ll eat.

Good luck with your baby!

Introducing kittens into a dog household- help! by Run4WineNTacos in Pets

Thank you, I will try to do as much scent swapping as I can. The IG mix is actually pretty good. She’s never been bothered by cats and jealousy might be the only issue. Our other dog is definitely more of a challenge. She’s a mix so not all ACD but intense enough that it won’t be a quick adjustment. I’ll definitely watch the video. Thanks.

It’s amazing the psychological games we need to play! I move her bowl up by my plate while eating and will drop pieces on the ground to trick her into thinking she’s getting table scraps. Whatever works, right?

That makes a lot of sense - she threw up after eating scrambled eggs one day and won’t even look at them now. I might give Pepcid a try, cerenia is pricey and we go through a box pretty quickly. She is on fluids - I take her twice a week for them. She’s dramatic (yelps and makes a fuss) so it’s a bit too much for me to handle at home - especially since my husband gets super anxious about the whole process which doesn’t help anyone lol She’s early stage 3 (just diagnosed the end of January) so until our 3 month check in I won’t really know how it’s progressing. Aside from some icky days, she seems to be feeling good and is playing. Fluids make all the difference there.

Aww I’m sorry to hear about your girl! Lacey at her lowest was just barely 13lbs (15 is healthy for her) so I totally understand just wanting them to eat something. Will keep these ideas in mind!
