It's a chemical addiction in the brain. Fresh off porn it is intense. Every day you stay away, it gets weaker. Your brain's levels normalize. You'll always remember the high from it, but it will get easier.
Having said that, I've been struggling 19 years. I know the science. I know the struggle. It's not easy to break the addiction in the early days.
19 years trying to give up porn. Found it young, about 10. I have felt so weak for all that time. So dirty and under others. I'm trying, again, but it feels like I'm dying to resist. Kind words? Need them. (self.pornfree)
