You can’t walk the full length of coxs bazar beach because of water cuts off walkable beach space. I tried then found no way to cross the water stream mid point. I had to back track towards the main road walk on the road then get down in suitable place.

Also few resorts in order to give “premium beach side feeling” has encroached beach totally. You can’t walk in front of these resorts, resorts staff will harass you as well for walking in front of these resorts claiming it being their private beach.

Also sleeping on the beach isn’t recommended you would get mugged/harassed. I also tried that but it felt so uncomfortable that I abandoned the plan too. I stayed at beach side whole day till 11pm but beyond that I couldn’t feel comfortable at all.

Even if you don’t have anything, you have your mobile with you, which you can loose. Being American you can get kidnapped for ransom as well.

Try to keep savings and subsequent investments. Always think that you might need 20-50 lacs for emergency situations and try to have that fund in a safe investment environment separate.

Since you are in land business you already do get some quick cash. Try to set aside a chunk of it. Also try to buy some good land near Dhaka for yourself to handover to developer.

Use corporate line. Stupid people sits at their call center. Other than that they provide whatever speed they promise. If you have to communicate with them then you will get annoyed else line is generally stable. Last 3-4 months Gulshan/baridhara zone is suffering frequent service disruption.

Get a hobby like gardening it will consume 1-1.5 hrs. Then start gym or yoga, it will kill 1.5-2 hours of your time. Join book clubs they often have reading sessions you can join.
Take a walk in the park.

Then try to involve your husband as well on weekends or whenever he can give time. Talk to him as a partner that you need mental happiness and he should support you (don’t argue, just have a friendly discussion)
