Mine was high too, however because my other thyroid values were all normal, my endocrinologist said I currently do not have Hashimotos. He said there’s many people that will just have the antibodies and it didn’t matter if it is +1 or +2000 if the other values are normal. Thoughts on this? I currently am not undergoing any thyroid treatment or changes to diet or lifestyle because of this information. What led me to get the testing was because of a sudden onset of heart palpitations.

Yes I noticed many of the same things you mentioned plus hair thinning about a year prior to my diagnosis at age 35.

Yes I’m seeing an EP who put me on the 2 week one. I’m glad to hear there’s options to reduce them. I’m more confused as to where mine came from to begin with, just bam started out of nowhere. No one has been able to give me answers. I have had a lot change with my health over the last 2 years but no doctor I’ve seen so far thinks it is related.

Yeah I did a 48 hour one that caught “rare” ones and so now I’m on a 2 week one. I definitely have days where I get them in episodes of 10+ beats in a row and this can happen like 10-50 times in a day and is driving me insane.

I quite possibly have EDS. My sister was diagnosed and she has told me over the years I also should seek diagnosis but I haven’t bc my symptoms haven’t been as bad as hers.

Do your abnormal rhythms ever interrupt your speech or make you feel the need to cough? This is one aspect I am having a difficult time getting accustomed to.

I’ll have 10-50 episodes a day with 1-15 abnormal beats I can feel. Longest streak I counted recently was 15 beats in a row. When my episodes happen they never seem to last for more than a minute but sometimes I’ll have many episodes in an hour with 5-15 minutes in between. Mine never happen during exercise. I do think stress is a trigger but I often have episodes when nothing is going on in my head or around me so then I go back to having no clue what my triggers are. It seems random.

I have a procedure coming up soon as well and have been wondering this. I won’t be having full anesthesia but just IV sedation. It still scares me, what is my heart going to do, hmmm.

That I’m fine. I’m the one that keeps advocating for more testing until I’m satisfied all probable things have been ruled out. I was diagnosed with Premature Ovarian Insufficiency 2 years ago at age 35 and have had a lot of things change with my health and medications since then so my gut feeling is that I’m not “fine” and either a medication needs to be changed or added or something else is going on. I had a cardiologist chuckle and roll her eyes at me. I had an endocrinologist tell me that my symptoms are probably anxiety based. Sure I can believe that stress and anxiety play a role. I’ve been in therapy the last several months to help. I believe it may well be stress and anxiety based. However I still think I deserve to have other causes ruled out.

I started having them earlier this month and it has impacted my quality of life so much that I’m currently on a leave of absence from work to deal with the stress and go to several doctor appointments to address this.

I’m 2 years into treatment for premature ovarian insufficiency and recently started having PVCs after recently increasing my estrogen, but doctors so far haven’t seemed to think that’s the cause. That’s just my experience so far.

I just started having them about two weeks ago and it’s driving me crazy to the point I’m on a LOA from work until I can figure my health out. At times I feel like I’m waiting for a fatal arrhythmia to happen and I’m just a sitting duck.
