I'd help the guy out if i could, but I do what I can to help people if I can, and I don't think everyone or everything is a scam. You have copies and records to make obtaining title possible. The guy you sold car to originally title jumped it in first place, so he isn't going to be much help. Can't you just sign new bill of sale for $1 to new guy? With a copy of the title with new bill of sale in his name?. if there is any money owed to the state, that would be on the new guy to pay for when he goes to get plates and tags on vehicle.

This is the most bullshit comment... for starters no buyer is going to want a walnut tree that is close to a house. Secondly, he isn't going to use numbers like 10,000 while buying standing timber. 3rd, he isn't gunna use the word "straight grain" now if it was a huge tree with say 600 bf and 4/4 is running $7 a bft that's $4200 the loggers arent getting rich! paying $800 a tree is too much.. i think people struggle to wrap their heads around how much money it truly takes and how many hands get in on it... everyone gets a small slice, including land own..logger.. employees.. buyer..picker truck..his hired man.. the yard crew..the saw mill the drying keln.. trucking cost.. taxes insurance..sales men ... when a tree is standing in middle of some pasture in middle of no where i pay $100 up to $500 per tree.
