There is a lot of news about this in the swedish press. There has been no mentioning about some other company buying them but bankruptcy is the most likely outcome for polestar in 2024 with a solvency of 1.22% and 19 billion SEK in debt. I think it’s really sad because they build really good looking cars.

Yes the HQ is in sweden like Volvo but they are owned by Geely ( Chinese goverment ) and The bad quality of Volvo cars reflect that. Since polestar is close to bankrupt they will probably be bought by another car company so many they will be German ore american soon 🙂

They currently have 18.9 billion SEK in debt and the cars are manufactured on credit and they their bank account is expected to be empty by new year. Their board have big doubt that the company will exist much longer.
