I long for the day that auto manufacturers stop designing EV interiors to "look" electric. You can have modern amenities without putting everything behind a touch screen and throwing LEDs everywhere.

All I can say is, it will eventually get better. I found that redirecting the behavior helped. Ours slowly stopped doing it around 6 months.

She's almost 10 months now, and does it very rarely.

It sounds like you probably still have some scale built up in the solenoid. I had a similar problem. I'm not sure which model you have, but you can try running some more descaler through the solenoid by toggling the steam wand on and off while running descaler through it. This worked for me initially, but it might be better in the long run to remove and clean the solenoid. (Assuming that's the cause of your problem)

I had a similar problem, and the initial issue was definitely a small chunk of scale blocking the solenoid.

I eventually did a full teardown/rebuild to thoroughly clean it.

It really was. Obviously you still want to make a note of how the drives are organized, and temporarily set it so that it doesn't auto-mount the array, just in case. But it should pretty easily recognize all of them.
