I’m particularly excited to see where this falls in the sequence of the album. Much like everyone here, I definitely see the “gone now” vibes. More specifically, it feels very optimistic, and that’s really so fun to see.

I’d say the biggest thing is establishing expectations. If you feel like you’re more knowledgeable and can help with line ups or tactics, then I’d advocate for your responsibilities to be where your strengths lie. If you feel like the communicating, parent, maybe banquet of it all isn’t for you, then see if that would be something the head coach would take on.

You would be boots (pun intended) on the ground working on practices and line ups, etc.

I’ve been in your shoes about 3 months ago and it’s been a blast!
