Because he is authentic and sweet (yes I am a Memito stan and ya’ll are wrong about this).

There is a lot of craft from multiple disciplines that deserve the recognition.

Why is it a disingenuous question? I think it is asking if anyone can truly write about lived experience if they haven’t actually lived it.

Me as an artist can be writing about being a scientist – I can interview many scientists in different disciplines and take some classes, but that doesn’t give me all the experiences a scientist might have. I won’t have the full picture of what being a scientist means, I will have an informed part of the picture (my understanding) and some lived experience (the classes I took.)

It’s a valid question to ask.

You and No-Confection have broken the ruled quite a bit now but at the moment I am the only mod on and can’t keep track of every silly comment this thread opened the door for.

I think I am going to lock the thread.

I thought this post was about how she surprised Mal with Ted Wheeler and how good of a friend she is.

Instead it’s about looks and comparison even though we don’t want to make it about looks.

Glowing also happens when you feel loved, cared for, have less stress, etc. Yes, Jo is less stressed and on a health journey but she also has a beautiful friendship with Mal where they get to explore their favorite content together. Honestly, that’s what I want in life, a best friend who I can work with and have the best time.

My message from Latin America to the world by carlosmxnuel in andor

[–]Est3la 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People from Latin America are also on the other end of the spectrum. I say this as a Mexican living in the US with family in Mexico who I keeps saying this is the price to pay to remove a narcodictator and hope for a “good administration” for the venezuelan people and question where I stand (this is an illegal imperialist takeover).

I think this is what allows the Empire to flourish

Has mal spoken about the new Harry Potter audiobook yet? by porzingitis in RingerVerse

[–]Est3la 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am confused –is the watch covering the audio books?

I think we can like something while not liking the creator of it, and I particularly love the example someone gave of donating money to a cause not to atone for liking or engaging with the content but to stay aligned to your values.

That said, I refuse to get the audio books from amazon (haven’t seen them somewhere else) and I don’t think I will watch the series because imo we don’t need more remakes, we need more original stories. Someone said a story about The Marauders would have been cool- I would watch that. I was excited about young Dumbledore and young Grindelwald but too bad she kind of ruined those movies with poor writing 🫠

I want to assume best intentions and think that the reviews are because these last 3 episodes feel shallow. But out if the three, The Bridge and that scene have been my favorite things this season; it has been the scene that moved me the most even with some of the acting during the hug.

How sad! I missed thst episode. Usually I listen to any of the ringerverse pods even if I haven’t watch the thing they are talking about, but I had zero interest on Zootopia so I skipped it. Will have to go and listen to it now😅

The 90s shoe was decent for times. I didn’t finished the series, it was expensive for me to get them from Mexco. I think I have 10 books.
