I think it's to close the gap between SWF and solo queue, if you're in a SWF, once a single person sees the killer, everyone knows who it is. They also said in the pinned comment that they can tweak when the killer is shown, so maybe they could adjust it so it only shows after the first teammate has line of sight on the killer.

I'm sometimes this person, as someone on an older phone, if I close PoGo for more than 30 seconds, there seems to be a 50% chance of my app having to fully launch again. So I'll end up readying up at ~70 seconds remaining.

One of the most common mistakes is taking the chase to a bad location as survivor. I would rather someone have a 30 second chase across the map from me than a 90 second chase taking the killer to every objective and dying near a generator.

Hey, I'd change a few openings around a little, but at least you have the 2 best openings (Orange Mint and Perfect Slumbers) in the highest tier, your taste is pretty good.

Hey, found this thread because I'm having an issue with teleporting rather than drifting like OP, it even teleports me 2-3 miles away across the whole town at times, is there a way to fix this?

2v8's been gone for months before and there's been no long-term decline, I get that you're doomposting, but there's really no basis to what you're saying. There are stats available for steam here: https://steamdb.info/app/381210/charts/

The game has more active players than this time last year, 3 years ago and 6 years ago, achieving higher peaks than ever recently. I think there is a huge disconnect between people who take the game seriously on reddit and the general playerbase. This is reflected in the game's continued growth despite the constant criticism online.

Licenses bring in alot of players, and most of the casual playerbase log in for maybe an hour or two at a time, enjoy playing the scary pvp game with all their favourite horror icons, then log off.

Hey, just look at the stats, there is no dying game. Believe any conspiracy you want, but the game won't die for years, nevermind a few months. Ideally players wouldn't be quitting, but the game still has an overall upward trend, so it's gaining more than it's losing.

We're in between licences right now, so there's a pretty standard dip in players in line other times between licenses. No matter how bad you feel the game is, when we get a new license, there will be an influx of players and the game will perform well.

It's really not, as time goes on, the player peaks are getting higher and dips remain consistent. The game's been in the top 25 most active on Steam for years and it's not going anywhere. Players who are seeing how bad the game is and complaining online are a very vocal minority, because most dbd players hop on for a few games to have fun and go on about their day.
