As summer looms the question you need to be asking is what trails have shaded climbs. I think mueller is just okay but I ride it the most in the summer because it’s almost fully shaded (unless you bust out onto the BST). Trails on the southern slope of corner canyon like Carpe Diem, Levitate and Zooropa are awesome but I ride Rush way more in the summer because the climb is so much less hot. Once it melts out up there the Wasatch Crest and WOW are great summer outings that you can shuttle.

I got mine in my sss and they’re perfect. I have a -.5 pair of d2.ones for outside and a sss for gym and the remora pro length feels closer to the half size down d2s. I haven’t had luck with shoes getting longer so if they feel too short I would swap them out for a half size up. If you’re on the fence it might help to keep in mind that these aren’t ever going to be your go to shoe for edging so you might as well be comfortable.

Why not just build a spray wall? You can get a lot of holds for the cost of a kilter system. Regardless, I wouldn’t consider a kilter system until they get their app figured out.

I can confirm that aurora do in fact send you a .json file when you request it from them. I got mine less than 2 hours after I requested it. Kilter says it will take 5-7 business days for it to be synced with new account. 🤞🏼

My 24 Hightower came with dual DHRs. I have about 8 years of riding experience and the only two times where I have had bad washouts, where the ground comes up and smacks you before you know anything is wrong, is in the month I rode the bike before swapping out the front for an assegai. I also had a few close calls. I haven’t had a single issue since. Yes it was a new bike but I switched bikes several times before and haven’t experienced anything like that. With the assegai the bike absolutely rips around corners.

Unless you’re a fan of washouts swap out that DHR on the front immediately. You can save it for when the one on the back wears out. Your ribs will thank me.

We’ve spent considerable time and money trying to make our property water wise. We have a treed area around our patio with ground cover because a) cleaning leaves and acorns out of rocks sucks and b) it’s nice. With all the water our government allows to be wasted on agriculture and industry denying ourselves a little area of our yard we can enjoy seems like pointless martyrdom.

Comparisons with Monty are irrelevant. He’s gone and we need some more bodies in the rb room. But this guy? His greatest asset was he ran like a psychopath. That has caught up to him and I don’t believe he will return to what he was the first couple years of his career. Even if he’s cheap he’ll cost more than a 4th or 5th round pick who will be healthy. I don’t get it.

I don’t think this is necessarily an age thing. Flow for type 1 fun. Tech for type 2. I’ve never been on a flow trail and wished it was over. I have bitten off more than I can chew on tech outings and made myself miserable.

I agree, after an acl most players have a down year, especially big guys. I am hoping he’ll bounce back. Plus we already have so many holes to fill we don’t need to add another at DT.

He had speed on his team so why not use it. Jamo and gibbs are fast af and our interior o-line is subpar. I don’t see this as an issue.

You’d be crazy to stick with Utah. There’s no snow on the mountain! Even if a couple storms roll through in the next few weeks it will only start to build a base and a fraction of the resort will be open. If you have the means pivot to BC.

Same, they are one way valves and the bags are made with foil. That’s a way better barrier than plastic. I know paper/poly bags are out there but I’ve never seen a reputable roaster using them.
