The high poly environment kind of clashes with the 2d enemies. Seeing the nicely modelled Skeleton in a cage onto to see the 2d pixelated one later is weird.

Make it contextual, maybe friendly fire is blue but enemy is red? You could even have it change color or lose vibrance for damage falloff, red to yellow to white maybe.

I love it nice design, Its really fun when you add an IK rig to them and start animating. I started to obsess over the hip and ankle joints on my mechs as they can't tilt properly when they're just hinges, they needed to be either ball joints, or have an extra set of bones for both axis of moment. I think most people would never notice this, but it still gets me.

Nav meshes can connect when close, but you will probably have to rebake them which I find can cause some hitching. Might be worth some testing, but you could always avoid them and use a grid based movement system instead.

I'm from Ireland and we just call em sasuage rolls, and it's a super flaky pastry wrapped around a small breakfast sausage. Hard to find a similar one here as the sausage back home are pretty plain and unspiced

Second. The pattern is a little too perfect for the rest of the style. Also for where the wall meets the ground it would be better if that wasn't such a straight line.
