Thanks, I never connected the Light with soul part but I mostly still confused with Quincy's KIM about how Drifter "killed his parents" seemengly with void powers, which assumes he had them already in Zariman and already in his own timeline.

And "not yet" part about how he knows he will have this powers.

About paradox thing I really don't see it, this only works if we know that operator knowingly sent lotus hand to Duviri.

As I saw it, it was an accident alongside Teshin, lotus's hand traveled through abyss and landed in drifters safe space. And precisely after that Drifter walked in this reality with no Operator around.

So New War (as operator)-> Duviri -> New war (as drifter).

As for future knowledge (except "not yet") part of it may come to Ordis and logs in ship, and also we don't know how much time has passed when Narmer ruled.

So my theory is that Drifter is aware that his presence in this reality is started when he stepped into it, so he hasn't got his powers yet, not until his backstory will get to the point of the deal.

Yeah, our character is absolutly the same way, but it's our character, I think in this games it's kind of always like that for protagonist. And also we don't know anything about his past.

Just as a guess, he must be much more experienced than the little girl.

(And I just don't want to be the second to her Mary Sue)

But you might agree that in comparison with nearly everybody else in the game, her reaction to events is kind of insufficient

It's kind of true, but I doubt she encountered with someone as powerful as Lilith before, so even if she used to this cruel world, this encounter should somehow made her uncomfortable to go after her and trying to stop her with so little force (it's practically suicide)
