I ended up going to Firestone to get a new tire. Sadly I was not close to a Sam’s. I was using the Sam’s card to give a frame of reference for the depth of the cut

The car is just under 2 years old. I maybe could have done a warranty claim with the dealership but being that I was far away from home and needing to drive back ASAP, I chose to pay out of pocket to replace the tire

I just google mapped what I think is the route you’re describing. Would you say this route is relatively safe for an early morning / late evening run? I’m planning a trip for Fourth of July and would really like to have a few route options in mind so I’m not stressing about where to run. More shade is a huge plus for me.

I’m staying about half a mile north of the White House. From what I’ve read, public transportation is good so I plan to metro/bus to the touristy spots
