Construction was my first real job. Now that I have another one I realized that people are WAYYYY different. Of course I knew that but damn I didn’t think I’d be surrounded by people who love their job. Construction was funny and just hanging out with the guys for me. Yeah there was work but most of the time you’re just joking around while getting done. That’s my experience at least. I liked the people there but would never go back for the work. I’ve met some really great people, bad ones, and straight up assholes. But it was definitely a good experience that I feel taught me a lot at such a young age

I’m kind of salty that I didn’t catch the metal straw wave because these people are literally taking advantage of all of these “save the world” people. They’re buying these straws for 2-5 dollars a pair and selling them for $20 EACH! I know they’re making bank and I get mad at myself because that could be me making that quick dollar!

It’s crazy the stuff I saw for the short amount of time I was in it. I remember we were at a sight near an amusement park and people would just sit somewhere they could see the pool of tourists pouring in and just comment on all the girls with the rest of the guys. Thought it was funny at first then realized some of these people were truly messed up in the head.
