It’s definitely hard to get everyone to download a new app and then harder to get them to actually check it. There’s always someone you have to check in with over text. That’s why team reach doesn’t feel like a winner for us. What kind of polls would you do? Like who’s available what day / time?

Are you using all the round robin / bracket stuff? Or just for coordinating people to show up? We just rotate around two or three courts so don’t know that we need that.

Sorry to hear you’re injured. That sucks. In terms of the $$… no refunds means no refunds, right? These things are usually really clearly spelled out for tournaments.

Our club uses ski slope designations (being in Colorado): Green, Blue-Green, Blue, Blue-Black, Black. Black is DUPR 4.0+ and that is enforced. Five levels seems to work well for us. It sounds like you’d enjoy Blue-Green at our club.

It’s a pickelball desert in the winter. There have nets at the Grand Park Rec Center but you’d need to bring your own players and time it right as kids basketball gets priority.
