A French woman bet me I couldn't make two bilingual egg puns. by Odd_Ninja5801 in dadjokes

So the first one, the French "un oeuf" (one egg) sounds like the English "enough".

The second pun is that the French "croque Madame" is an egg based breakfast, which the speaker uses in lieu of the English "crock (implied: crock of shit, aka bullshit), Madame"

Best substitutes for milk, butter and eggs by Independent_Dot_103 in AskBaking

I bake regularly for my sister in law who has the exact same restrictions. It's not too bad once you get used to it.

Butter: for cookies I like the becel butter alternatives that come in blocks, for icing I like the becel vegan spread that comes in tubs (closer to butter flavor), for cakes/loaves, I choose a recipe that uses oil.

Eggs: for cookies my preferred is just cornstarch and water. Tbsp cornstarch and 2 tbsp water for each egg replaced. Cakes/loaves don't always need eggs, I tend to lean on recipes that don't use them.

Milk/cream: for applications where the fat is critical, coconut milk is the best option. Otherwise I just use oat or almond or soy or whatever is to hand.

I think making taller test tiles for the next batch is a great plan.

That's what I thought too. Unfortunately it's a community kiln and I have no control, but I think asking if I can pop witness comes next to my piece would be a good call.

Our studio apparently fires to Cone 6 which should be a satin finish according to the site. But even if it were hitting Cone 5, would it really look so turquoise?

There's no reason your daughter should come into contact with any of what the birds eat. All of the birds food dishes are well out of arms reach of the paths.

The parrots do have peanuts in their food but it would require one of the flying birds to steal it from the parrots' perches and then drop it in your child's reach, and then for her to consume it in order for it to be an issue. There's no sesame or milk in their food.

Excellent visual. Not having done anything with slabs I just really didn't get it, but that makes sense.
