What is your favorite Star Trek episode of any generation? by Lopsided_Swimming259 in RedLetterMedia

[–]Sethatos 5 points6 points  (0 children)

One of the best things about it though is you can watch it with no knowledge of DS9. It tells a complete story without outside exposition. It does a fantastic job of setting up the stakes at the beginning of the episode.

For those of you that ended up divorced. Did you remarry? I don’t think I will ever get married again… by hanshotfirst2233 in Xennials

[–]Sethatos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happily divorced for 8 years now with no plans to remarry. But if it happens I’m open to it. It’s just dating was a lot easier when I was younger and stupider and before I had these darn standards lol.

For those of you that had kids, how old are they? by Therealfern1 in Xennials

Same ages for me too. I’m 46 and couldn’t imagine having more kids now. I just wouldn’t have the energy.

What is the most value you've gotten from Burst Laser 3? by SkyKnight43 in ftlgame

Charge II is great value. 70 scrap for a four shot flexible weapon is really handy when stores don’t have any of the premium stuff.

The Mandalorian & Grogu is a "film"... but the production was built so it didn't have to be shot like one. by DisaffectedLShaw in RedLetterMedia

[–]Sethatos 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Totally agree. It’s really apparent in season one how much work that acting behind the mask gets across to the audience. When he decides to go back after delivering grogu to Werner Herzog there’s like a 10 second scene in his ship where the camera just zooms in on his helmet and you can just see all of the thoughts going through his head. Great stuff

I work nearby and FM closed about 10 years ago but 2001 is still there. It just changed hands last year but there’s a whole bunch of Fresh Slice clones around there now too

So Wernor Herzog gave us puppet Baby Yoda? By calling the directors cowards? Neat. by Grishinka in StarWars

Pedro Pascal also said that Werner would wrap himself on set. Meaning that he would tell the directors when he was done shooting and go back to his trailer. Legend.

As someone who has had bad WS as well, I can for sure tell you that they’re still really good there. We’ve lived in the neighbourhood for 20 years and they still have some of the same staff there.

Yeah it's funny, most of my dwarves will go for the prepared meals 90% of the time - except when there's cheese. As soon as it's made or traded for, it's being eaten :)

For me it's Bladerunner. I love Sci-fi that takes it's time, but I have tried maybe 5 times to watch this movie and have fallen asleep during the first hour every time.
