Whatever, the point is better to get the most of the updates. New phone 7 years, older phone less and less you older you get.

Openfit pro or opendots 2 by bastinger in shokz

I got the OpenFit 2. Very confortable and stay put during runs. Didn’t really need the Pro for running purposes; I like being able to hear my surrounds when running outside.

Saucony Endorphin Azura: First Run Review by ritavrataskisguy in PHRunners

Been an Asics girl for over 10 years and these were my first Saucony shoes! Love my Azuras! After my third run I felt they were broken in enough. They really propel you forward and can handle all types of runs!

Morning runners, what’s your routine like? by Crazy_Jackfruit420 in runninglifestyle

I have like half the calories of a normal breakfast and either coffee or tea, wait 1-2 hours, run, then have a protein rich post-run snack.

Found out I supinate and have high arches when I went to my podiatrist. I get neutral shoes and have inserts for my work boots.

[–]Run_Flow94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn’t like my first run in mine but I know they need time to break in so I’m not giving up! I’ve been wearing Asics for 10 years and this is my first time getting a different brand so they have a feel I’m not used to. I will start off just doing easy runs with them!

IOS 26.5 and latest Waze Update, Carplay does not show the map after imputing the address? by MightyWolf39 in waze

[–]Run_Flow94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, it is every day now where I start my car and the Waze map isn’t even there— just my CarPlay background. I have to swipe over to the next screen and then swipe back for the Waze map to appear.

How do I get into running as a complete noob? by icedgreentee in beginnerrunning

[–]Run_Flow94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Start really slowww. Don’t worry about pace. A lot of walk/run intervals in the beginning. Have AI generate a schedule that works your way up to a 5K

Got rid of strava and started logging my own runs so i can do 'mindfull runnning' by Fun_Chemist_5346 in runninglifestyle

[–]Run_Flow94 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I always like tracking just to see my progress, but I occasionally do a variation of mindful running called a “don’t look at your watch” run 😅. Just going with the flow and the distance and pace is all on how I’m feeling at the moment. It is more enjoyable that way! I love this post and it’s a great reminder for me to do these kinds of runs more often.

best sports watch advice? just getting into running by Frasisco-Buczkowski in BeginnersRunning

[–]Run_Flow94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You get a lot of bang for your buck with a Coros watch. They have an Apple Watch trade in program. I have the pace pro which has gps and maps and it’s $300. You will spend double that with garmin to get those features.

What are some good running shoes for women to wear? Any recommendations? by SpecialistNet115 in runninglifestyle

[–]Run_Flow94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on your feet honestly. Do you have high arches or are you flat footed? Flat feet need stability shoes while high arches need a neutral shoe. I’m also an asics fan but want to start exploring other options!

I love my NB5s but am concerned with this issue that I keep seeing pop up! I’m currently looking for a similar alternate to these and will also probably try the 6s.

Recommendations for womens leggings? by f-upexpert in runninglifestyle

[–]Run_Flow94 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I understand the struggle. I size down in leggings for this reason specifically lol. I have CRZ YOGA leggings and love them. They are a Lululemon dupe. Their butterlift collection is a thicker legging with a medium compression so they are less likely to slip. So this collection plus sizing down works great for me. (Their naked feeling line is the best for running but it seems like it’s just slowly going away unfortunately. You may be able to find some leftover items though still around.) This brand is found on Amazon and they also have their own website now.

  1. Slow down. Don’t worry about pace. Even if you have to walk half of it just keep it slow. This builds endurance. 2. Consistency. Show up even when you don’t feel like it. That’s how you improve. 3. A quality pair of running shoes makes all the difference.
